FAQ
Why do timelines slip?
Unscoped integrations, late stakeholder feedback, and “tiny” extras without tradeoffs.
Next steps
A 12-week build that is not a fairy tale
Weeks 1–2: discovery, written scope, clickable flows for the daily loop. Weeks 3–4: foundation — auth, data model, CI, staging. Weeks 5–8: the vertical features people hired you for. Weeks 9–10: integrations and hardening (Stripe, SMS, the vendor API that lies). Week 11: UAT with the actual operators. Week 12: launch plus hypercare. That is a focused product, not a rewrite of a hospital.
ZynVoss LLC uses this shape from Fort Pierce because it matches how shops can give feedback: weekly staging, not a six-week cave. If your stakeholders cannot look at staging in week 4, the timeline is already fiction.
Milestones that protect both sides
- Scope signed, with an out-of-scope list.
- Critical screens approved before we paint the whole house.
- Staging demo on real-shaped sample data.
- Security checklist: roles, secrets, backups, Stripe — not a PDF of padlocks.
- Launch runbook: DNS, who is admin, rollback, support hours.
Timelines slip on unscoped integrations, late feedback, and “tiny” extras with no tradeoff. We will trade. We will not silently eat ten extras and then miss Monday. Process: our process. Cost: cost guide. Start: start a project or (772) 971-4448.
What a week actually looks like here
Monday we look at staging together or we send a written note: what shipped, what is stuck, what needs a decision from you. If you cannot give a decision until Friday, say so. A frozen decision is better than a silent one. ZynVoss LLC will not invent your Saturday rate while you are at a job.
Integrations get their own line on the calendar. “SMS” is not a checkbox. It is a vendor account, a test number, deliverability, and a failure path when Twilio is drunk. If your timeline has “week 9: all integrations,” it is already late. Pull the one that unlocks money (usually Stripe or the job board) into week 5.
Change requests without a fight
Write extras as a list: name, why, what we drop instead. We will not eat ten “tiny” items and then miss launch. If you want the extra and the original date, the honest answer is more weeks or more money. Fort Pierce number: (772) 971-4448.
UAT is not “the owner clicks around on Sunday.” It is the writer, the dispatcher, or the front desk on a weekday with real-shaped data. If those people are not in week 11, you will discover the real product in week 13 in production. We would rather slip UAT than ship a tool nobody will use at 7:40 a.m.
